Requirements to enroll with us:

  • Drug Test (performed at School)
  • D.O.T. Medical Card (physical performed at School)
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Any Proof of prior Education
  • 3 Year driving record

Enroll

To be eligible for a CDL, you must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid Texas driver's license in good standing, and pass a D.O.T. physical exam and drug test. Both the physical and drug test can be conducted at our school location.

To qualify for a CDL permit, you must complete the Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) with us and pass four different written tests at your local DPS office.

Behind The Wheel Training (BTW)

You must complete entry-level training hours with us for "Behind-the-Wheel (BTW) Range-Maneuvers" and "BTW-Road Driving." We will report your training hours to the FMCSA's Training Provider Registry (TPR) so you can take your road test at the DPS office, where they will verify your training.

Road Test

After completing your training at Ace Trucking Academy, we'll submit and certify your record to the TPR. To obtain your Commercial Driving License, you must pass a 2.5-hour road test comprising Pre-trip, Maneuvers, and Road sections. We provide the truck for your test.

Some schools offer less training for cheaper price, If you really want your CDL, You need to learn everything required to drive the truck. We offer full training from A to Z, plus advanced backing maneuvers to help you on the road.

Yes, You can pay us weekly as you progress the course

We will definitely show you how to drive the trucks. But Driving is just one section of your test, you must back the truck and trailer on 3 different scenarios and avoid automatic fails, also you must inspect over 100 parts of the truck and trailer properly. Everything is covered in our training

Yes, we have diverse instructors ranging from Spanish, Farsi, Urdu, Arabic, etc.

We Offer Class B and Class A CDL in Automatic and Manual transmission. We also offer all endorsements

We have have industry standard 10 speed manual transmission and industry standard 12 speed Automatic transmission. You should learn to drive 10 speed if you want your CDL with no Automatic Restriction, once you learn 10 speed, you can easily learn 13,18 speeds. 6th speed is totally different from other types.

As long as you can pass a D.O.T. physical exam, you can get your CDL

Yes, you can rent our truck for testing but we recommend you sign up for full training
